Car-Free at the Car Show

I have a confession to make: I don’t have a car and I don’t drive. But I love car shows.

Must be part of my DNA, because my father was an antique car buff. He kept telling Mom and me that he wanted to buy one to restore, but he never got around to it. I suspect that my frugal mother nixed that project because antique cars are an expensive hobby.

When I heard that Pima Community College was going to start hosting the Tucson Street Rod Association’s Rodders Days car show, I simply had to be there. Downtown Campus is only a mile from my house — an easy bicycle ride!

So, I loaded my camera equipment onto the bike, pedaled over to Pima, and here are the photos.

You may be wondering how I carried the camera equipment, and I plan to address that topic in a future post. Stay tuned.
