White Backgrounds in Nature
Artist’s Statement
These images show plant life in outdoor settings without the use of white backdrops, photo tents, or other props.
The first five images are from where I’m most comfortable with nature photography, my front and backyards. Here, I can take my time and shoot, shoot, shoot, and re-shoot until I get the right composition.
But, since I don’t share this space with saguaro cactii, I had to venture out to Sabino Canyon – in the Coronado National Forest east of Tucson – for the final image.

I am open and available to commissions for both residential and commercial spaces according to your needs. Additionally, I have excellent resources for generating my own prints, and for licensing images. I look forward to speaking with you.
